Camden Athlete was built with legacy in mind. What started in Gwinnett County, Georgia as two young boys stepping onto the field at age nine, one on offense, the other on defense, has grown into something far greater than the game. For their parents, Michelle and Kenny, those early football days were filled with pride and joy, watching the sport shape not just their sons’ skills, but their character, discipline, and leadership.

The Mack boys never chased the spotlight of the NFL, their true passion was always rooted in coaching, mentoring, and pouring into the next generation. And they’ve done just that.

Devonte approached his mom, Sherilyn, a minister and brand strategist with a vision: to build something together. Not just a business focused on wins and championships, but one grounded in character, leadership, and long-term impact. A platform that helps athletes navigate some of their most pivotal years and turning their journey into something empowering.

From that vision, Camden Athlete Branding Firm was born.

With Sherilyn’s decades of branding expertise alongside Coach Devonte Mack and Coach KJ’s over 20 years of hands-on experience in coaching and mentoring football players, this is more than a business, it’s a legacy in motion. Together, they are committed to developing not only elite athlete brands, but exceptional individuals, and building something that lasts far beyond the game.

SHERILYN BENNETT

Brand Strategist and Creative Director - A brand strategist, entrepreneur mentor, national speaker, and award-winning creative entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in branding, marketing, and leadership. She has a history of working with high-profile clientele and a gettng the job done for her clients. As the CEO/Creative Director of Camden Lane Creative for the last 9 years, that expertise now extend through Camden Athlete, helping athletes tell their story and maximize their name, image, and likeness with strategic branding, creative direction, and impactful partnerships that build legacy beyond the game.

To that end, Sherilyn has been featured in Huffington Post, The Dallas Morning News, CW 18 Orlando, Good Day Charlotte, Purpose Women, Sheen Magazine, Motivate Magazine and Voyage Atlanta, to talk about branding and entrepreneurship. She was honored as one of Atlanta’s Top 100 Women in 2025 for her leadership and impact. Whether shes speaking across the country, leading in corporate and ministry spaces, including Fortune 500 companies like The Clorox Company or building brands, her mission remains the same: to empower others to lead boldly, build with purpose, and turn influence into lasting impact.

COACH DEVONTE

Coach Devonte - Athlete Branding Consultant/Creative is a proud Buford High School graduate who continues to invest in the community that shaped him. Now residing in Buford, Georgia, he remains deeply committed to developing the next generation of athletes, both on and off the field.

With hands-on experience in coaching, sports videography, and athletic development, Devonte serves as a mentor to student-athletes, helping them grow in discipline, confidence, leadership, and purpose. As a sports videographer, he plays a critical role in capturing athletes’ performance, building highlight films, and telling compelling stories that elevate visibility and support recruiting opportunities.

Devonte’s work goes beyond wins and stats. He is passionate about helping athletes understand who they are, how to present themselves, and how to prepare for life beyond high school sports. Grounded in his own experience as a former athlete and coach at Buford HS and strengthened by his involvement in elite athletic programs, Devonte is known for his ability to connect, inspire, and challenge athletes to pursue excellence with integrity.

COACH KJ

Coach KJ Mack - Youth Athlete Mentor is a dedicated football coach, mentor, and developer of young men whose character and discipline is front and center. With nearly a decade of experience, four years at the collegiate level and five in high school, he currently serves as a high school football coach in Texas.

Previously, he was a Graduate Assistant – Defensive Line Coach at Missouri Western State University, where he helped develop high-performing defensive units while earning his Master’s degree. Known for his ability to identify and elevate talent, Coach Mack has coached 15+ All-Conference players since 2021, developed two Defensive MVPs, and mentored one current NFL player, with 10 former athletes now competing at the collegiate level.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Stout, he also holds a Master’s degree from Missouri Western State University. His coaching philosophy centers on discipline, character, and holistic development, empowering athletes to succeed.
